Here’s what Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Will Look Like on Your Phone

Email | Print

The news is out. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 will be released "later this year" but the buzz is already here. There's a press release, a post on the Microsoft official blog site and a new 24-page guide that has already been "printed." So what's left for little old me to write about? I read the press release. Then I read the 24-page guide. Then I read the blog. And then I thought, how many of you really want to spend all of that time reading about the new release, no matter how exciting and earth shaking it is, when in a few months you'll be able to install and use it? My answer to myself was, not many! Then I thought, what's really relevant here. And my answer to myself was, in a word, mobile!

According to recent polls by Gallup and others, the percentage of workers who use their smartphones for work-related activities, both at work and at home, is rising incrementally. And by that I mean, honestly, rising every day! Part of this phenomenon is organic, i.e. because the workforce is getting younger. But there's also the fact that boomers who want to keep their jobs have to change their work habits, too. Millennials and boomers use their phones every day for legitimate work-related activities. And one of those activities involves accessing Dynamics CRM on the go, on the road, from a phone.

Now that I've made a short story long, I'll stop right here and just share this image with you so you can see exactly how perfect Dynamics CRM 2016 will look on your smartphone.

OK, so this image, once I re-sized it, doesn't quite do justice to the point I'm trying to make. But can you still get the idea? I hope so. And I hope to bring you more and better images as they become available. Because there's no denying that a picture is worth a thousand words.
