At the Microsoft Dynamics Convergence 2014 event, we checked in with two Customer Excellence award winners on the mainstage – Chobani and Weight Watchers. Are they still loving their Microsoft Dynamics systems?
Chobani
Maureen Hurley, Vice President of IT for Chobani said Microsoft Dynamics was rapid to deploy and “has been a godsend to us.” They were able to connect to a 3PL in 40 days, and the next one in 24 hours. Her advice to other companies was, “Keep it simple, don’t customize for personal choices.” She advised them to look at what can already be done with Microsoft Dynamics and what they are releasing to see if you can be open to doing it that way. This will lower your risk.

Chobani relies on Microsoft Dynamics AX supply chain management, financial management, and warehouse management. It uses Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage its relationships, whether business-to-business, business-to-consumer, or even business-to-employee.
Weight Watchers
Mike Olson, Director of CRM for Weight Watchers gave this lesson, “Have fun with it.” He said there will be ups and downs. But you have got to have FUN implementing technology because fun helps you be more creative.
