Demo of Dynamics GP Integration 2013 to Dynamics CRM with Connector Tool

Captain Stack Dynamics just released a great new video showing the integration between Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM using the CRM Connector tool.

The Connector tool syncs certain records both ways, while other records are controlled by one system or the other, either the ERP system or CRM system.

The demo starts with a simple two way integration of data – updating customer account data.

If you make a change to a customer record in one location you want to make sure it is changed in both locations. Captain Stack makes a change in CRM, and it is set to update every 30 seconds, so we can almost immediately see it updated in Dynamics GP. Then he shows the integration the other way, a change made to the customer record in Dynamics GP show up in Dynamics CRM.

Then Captain Stack shows the mapping tool that builds the links between Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM.

The second half of the demo shows a more complex scenario - a sales order entered in Dynamics CRM that then shows in Dynamics ERP.
