In a previous post, we wrote about the new mobility capabilities planned for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2012 Update. To refresh your memory, the 2012 Update would be executed on the Dynamics team's “CRM Anywhere” strategy. The goal was to offer cross-browser access (Safari – Firefox – Chrome) for Dynamics CRM, as well as a native app, CRM Mobile, which would be available on IOS, Android, and Windows 7 devices.

In a little noticed post early in July, MS Dynamics group announced that both cross-browser support and CRM Mobile would be delayed till Q4. For those worried that this would mean other planned Q4 deliverable would be pushed back, the post made a point of saying that all schedules remain the same.

While the Q2 Update will not have CRM Anywhere, it will still include: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 support, industry templates (Wealth Management, Non-Profit, Life Annuity Insurance Sales, and Health Plan Sales) and certifications for our online service.
