In these challenging economic times and competitive markets, having real time, relevant information is the key to making better, more informed decisions. Meeting these challenges in the most efficient manner requires technology that can take information, automatically filter it, then push it to us in a visually appealing presentation with immediate access to underlying details. The Dashboard!
To date, most dashboard solutions are comprised of two methods. The first is prevalent in the ERP industry with chart types built using legacy toolkits that usually have limited drill down abilities. The other mainstream answer as has been to use generic tools such as Excel Office Chart or PowerPoint to present information entered manually but with no drill down ability. Both are generally static in nature and to date, outside of a presentation look and feel, have not delivered the information needed to make real time, competitive decisions. Microsoft’s ERP dashboard solutions to date have followed a similar pattern but with the new Dynamics CRM 2011 release, Microsoft is now providing a real tool that truly helps users solve this challenge.
With the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, Microsoft allows organizations that deploy their core solution, or in the world of Industry specific xRM solutions, the ability to easily build and utilize dashboards that are both flexible and powerful. In the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, users can now quickly develop dashboard solutions on the fly either from within Outlook or the web client. Custom Dashboards can be shared or made exclusive. Users can drag in their own charts or something as easy as a Bing Map to see locations. Using the Customize Dashboard capabilities, users can now link or embed other data using IFrames to Scripts to SSRS Reports to Silverlight applications.
With CRM 2011, key dashboard information can now be delivered and presented in a real time, visually appealing method. Let us show you the real power of Dashboards.
