Microsoft has been prioritizing the development of mobile applications for years, so that users can access Dynamics CRM via Windows 8 tablet, iPad, or a mobile phone, from anywhere and at any time, and with as rich a functionality experience as possible. Salespeople, for example, can stay connected to CRM data, team members, and customers while in the field.
Microsoft CRM for tablets gives you access to customer information wherever you are, and enables you to update notes, tasks, contacts, accounts, and leads immediately. And data is cached for online viewing, so you still have access to key information even if you lose connectivity.
Embedded Skype calling is provided so that you can easily contact customers right from your tablet. Interactive charts enable you to click within a chart to analyze your sales data for quick insights.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 will also deliver touch-enabled mobile phone applications for Windows 8, Android, and iPhones, though these applications will not be available with the initial launch of CRM 2013, but will follow not long afterward. You'll be able to access contact, account, lead, opportunity, appointment, and other relevant information on your phone, and you'll be able to work offline and view social activity feeds.
Moreover, you'll be able to add and modify contacts, tasks, and notes, as well as other relevant data, with your phone. Users that access CRM from the web browsers on their mobile devices will get a web browsing experience that is optimized for the device, a "liquid layout" that adjusts for various screen shapes and resolutions.
