Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) Beta Not Working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Have you already downloaded the beta version of IE9? If so, you may have noticed that it doesn’t work great with Microsoft Dynamics® CRM. All the related fields, such as customer, price list, unit, etc. that depend on other forms are broken. So, for example, if you want to create a quote, it is not possible to enter the account name since the search field is broken. As a matter of fact, the form freezes and then an error report is generated.

The CRM engineering team is working closely with the Internet Explorer team to close the gaps.  In fact, several fixes were published about a week ago.  For example, Update Rollup 13 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM has been found to fix most of the issues at hand. (Keep in mind that “Update Rollups” only apply to CRM on-premise installations.  CRM Online updates are published separately.)

Even though IE9 is a leap forward for web browsing, I would recommend you stick with IE 8 if you are using CRM in a production environment for now.
