Now that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is so widely used and adapted, the after-market is becoming alive with some really great add-ons. One of them that we implemented in house is InsideView. InsideView lives inside the Account record in CRM in a separate field. The application finds a match for the account name and reports back on pertinent business information regarding the account. Some well laid-out tabs give you further insight into the account, such as names and positions of officers, competitor names and a “Buzz” tab that delivers information on the account’s postings in Twitter, on Blogs, and more. You can even “Sync” from InsideView and it will update fields in CRM, such as SIC code, Revenue, the proper address, etc. InsideView comes in multiple flavors; the first one with the fewest features is completely free!
For more information on InsideView and other add-ons available with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, contact InterDyn AKA.
