Premier Support with Microsoft

We purchased a Premier Support contract with Microsoft this past year, and one of the benefits of their consulting team includes a Code Review. We had a Microsoft employee on-site for a full day, and it was an incredibly awesome experience.

First, the Microsoft consultant was brilliant. He had plenty of real-life experience and understood our project, our environment, and what we were doing. He was able to evaluate our progress on Rockton Connect, our accounting system for CRM, and provide feedback, insight, and information to help us improve.

Secondly, we rocked it! Not only is our code quite solid, we’ve proven to have established healthy and repetitive habits of great code. We follow industry recommendations, document things well, and have a solid basis in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).

Premier Support can be a bit pricey, but so far it’s been a proven benefit for us. Our ADM (Application Development Manager) takes good care of us and helps provide resources to benefit our progress. With Microsoft’s help, we’re on track to release a solid software product on CRM soon.
