With CRM 2011, dashboards and charts can be made on any entity, within minutes, to help you visually see what you want to see. Do you want to improve the visual look even more by making your CRM Charts look like this?
It’s so easy a non-techy person can do it!
This process works for the existing system Charts that come with CRM, or new charts that you create using the Chart Editor in CRM.
Let’s use the following 2-dimensional chart as an example: Cases by Priority (Per Day)
From the Chart editor click on Export Chart and Save As an XML document:
Once the file is saved, close the window (do not open it from here). Go into Windows Explorer and open the XML file using Note Pad Find the following area in the code and insert the highlighted text and save the changes:
Return to the Chart editor in CRM and Import the file you just saved. When prompted about having a duplicate file - Click on Keep Both. You will be prompted to give it a unique name - add a “3D” suffix to the name - then import. The Chart is now available to view from the My Active Cases view and available to add to any Dashboard using the Dashboard Wizard:

Can you put a background image into a chart via xml?
I have played around with changing colours of the charts and sizes. Just wondering if there can be a background image? to an image that has had 3d enabled. To replace the greyish background
