Extreme2010 Report: Mobile Edge – Microsoft Dynamics CRM Add-On Product Spotlight

John Carini, CEO of iEnterprises, traveled to Extreme2010 in Vegas this week with all of his mobile devices in tow – the iphone, ipad, blackberry, oh my!  (Security let him through the door with an iphone even though this IS a Microsoft event).  If you are interested in Wireless CRM check out this video interview on his product, Mobile Edge, for wireless CRM.

With Mobile Edge you can use Microsoft Dynamics CRM securely on your Blackberry, iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices.  Imagine being able to update your MSCRM contacts, sales, opportunities and projects easily – anytime, from anywhere.

An important feature is that Mobile Edge is available even when your sales rep is offline and has no internet access.

Mobile Edge for Microsoft Dynamics CRM takes wireless access to an entirely new level, offering higher performance to your mobile professionals. Your sales team can close more deals, be notified of and resolve urgent issues, and can provide better customer service wherever they may be.

You gain the look and feel and security features found in your Microsoft Dynamics CRM system as well as the BlackBerry smartphone.  Accessing and updating pipelines and contacts, and logging call reports happens in seconds, anytime, anywhere with Mobile Edge for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

My only question, what about the Windows 7 phone? (I am sure it is on the way, if they want to be asked back to the Extreme2011 Microsoft CRM event next year).

  1. Nice to hear that mobile edge microsoft dynamics CRM addon product spotlight. Thats a nice post and the information is worthy. I have got the chance to get a review of an enterprise mobility solutions provider called http://www.karyatech.com when I was researching about the topic. They are providing mobile solutions in customer's desired platform. I would like to get more posts regarding microsoft dynamics mobile crm in this blog and I would like to get more suggestions from blog readers to enhance our knowledge.

  2. Our company has 7 different salespersons and each has their own list of clients. Will Mobile Edge allow each person to have only his client list and still use a Mobile CRM program? We want to be able to access client information and add call reports in the field even if we have no cell phone reception and keep each salesperson limited to his clients only.

    1. Hi Danny,

With Mobile Edge, Ache sales person will have their own list of client records, and related items , on their device. this will allow them to update these records even when offline. Records that are not on the device can be downloaded from the CRM and synced to the device also.

      I hope this helps.

      Thanks
