Last week, Microsoft announced a new subscription service for sales professionals that combines some of its most popular products into one powerhouse solution. It’s designed to help your sales teams be more connected and collaborative, so that they can close more deals faster. Read the original press release here.
Since this exciting offering is so new, we’re sure you have questions about what it is and how it works. Keep reading for answers to some frequently asked questions.
Q. What is included in the Sales Productivity bundle?
A. The new Sales Productivity solution includes the following:
Office 365 Enterprise E3—The latest version of Microsoft’s Office suite available across all devices, plus advanced email and collaboration, online conferencing and compliance functionality.
Power BI—A popular add-on for Office 365. This easy to use cloud based business intelligence solution that integrates with and builds upon Microsoft Excel.
CRM Online Professional—The most fully featured version of Dynamics CRM online which includes social listening, social media analytics, workflows and approvals, sales automation, customer service automation, sales campaigns, reports and personal dashboards, mobile access and more.
Q. This suite of sales productivity tools sounds great, but expensive. How much is it?
A. For a limited time, you can get access to all the great productivity tools I mentioned above for $65/user/month, the same price you would usually pay for a standalone Dynamics CRM Online professional subscription!
Q. What if I already subscribe to Microsoft Office 365? Can I add these additional sales productivity tools to my subscription?
A. Absolutely! Current Office 365 plan E3 or E4 users can, for a limited time, upgrade their subscriptions to the new sales productivity bundle for $45/user/month. If purchased separately, these solutions would cost over $100/user/month.
Q. Is this offer available in all markets?
A. This offer is available in any market where Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Office 365 and Power BI are currently available.
Q. When does this offer expire?
A. According to a Microsoft blog post, “The promotional prices are guaranteed only until the end of Microsoft's fiscal year in June 2015.” There has not yet been a publicized decision on whether the promotional price I mentioned above will continue beyond that.
