This is just a quick tip. Hopefully I can save you the time I spent on the phone with Microsoft support.
The Dynamics CRM 2013 Outlook Connector is not compatible with Windows 8.1 and IE 11. You cannot connect.
I was originally told this would be fixed with the Windows 8.1 Update, but after applying it via MSDN, the problem remained.
It is fixed for me now, the steps I took were:
- Install the Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42272
- Remove and re-install the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant:
That fixed it for me!
