A free Dynamics 365 boot camp is set to take place at Microsoft’s London offices in Paddington on 22 July 2017.

The educational event, suitable for everyone from beginners to industry specialists, has been organised in aid of the London Fire Relief Fund, run by the British Red Cross. All donations from the event will be going to the charity, with Microsoft MVPs and industry leaders also donating their time for free to lead workshops and deliver expert training.

The boot camp is a fantastic opportunity to discover the technical potential of Dynamics 365 with other industry professionals, with insight into the future of the platform from those who know it best.

Where and when?

Hosted inside Microsoft’s glamorous office in Paddington, London, the event will take place on 22 July 2017 and is open for free registration. Places are limited and it is likely that the event will attract high demand, however the final selection will be based on merit and not on a first-come first-served basis. Be sure to include all of your relevant experience in the application to ensure your attendance.

All you need for the event is a laptop with a blank Dynamics 365 setup. If you do not have access to a blank Dynamics 365 setup, it’s recommended that you download a 30-day free trial in time for the event, as you will be given hands-on training that will only make sense if you have a system in front of you.

Who will be there?

The event is being organised by CRM Saturday and CRM Boutique, two organisations dedicated to connecting and educating Dynamics professionals. You will also have to opportunity to speak to Neil Pankhurst, who was awarded the prestigious Microsoft MVP award in 2016 after working with Dynamics CRM for a decade.

You will also have the chance to speak to Nigel Frank International, the global leader in Microsoft Dynamics recruitment and a sponsor of the event. Speaking to NFI would be a great opportunity to gain some valuable career knowledge and guidance from prolific hiring managers within the sector.

What will I learn?

Track A

The first workshop, Application Core, is for those who are new to Dynamics 365 and wish to learn the basics. This is designed with migrating customers in mind; teaching the basics of Dynamics CRM Sales and Customer Services to those who have either moved from a different CRM product or are looking to do so in the future.

Track B

Track B is for those who are familiar with the Dynamics 365 platform and are looking for guidance on configuration and customisation without using code or custom development. It’s aimed specifically at End Users, meaning the skill level is fairly intermediate. In this workshop you will work as a group to solve problems in an expert-led session focusing on out-of-the-box configuration capabilities.

Track C

The third workshop is much more refined, offering Unified Service Desk training to those who have plenty of experience working with the Dynamics platform. This session will be led by Microsoft MVP Neil Parkhurst, and while it is an advanced application development workshop, it requires no knowledge of anything other than Dynamics 365. You can read more about Neil’s specialist session by clicking here.

Rarely will you get an opportunity to be part of a training day driven by industry experts for free, which makes this event a must-attend for Dynamics 365 professionals.
