New Enhancements Coming to Dynamics 365

Microsoft recently announced new enhancements that are coming to Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a result, these enhancements will bring exciting new features to the Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition and the Business Edition.

Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition

User interface refresh (applies to all the Enterprise edition web apps)

Due to the changes, the user interface has been much improved. You will find an easier to read layout. The new field styling will allow you to see empty fields better. In addition, text wraps will improve readability within fields.

Multi-select Fields

Microsoft finally came through and added the long-awaited multi-select field! You will now be able to choose the data type of "MultiSelect Option Set". So, for example, you can select multiple location areas.

Dynamics 365 Business Edition

Form Designer

The Form Design includes a few great new features. First of all, drag-and-drop options were added for creating new fields. Secondly, you can edit fields inline on the canvas. Lastly, multi-select fields are available to add.

View Designer

The View Designer comes with options as well. First, you can sort columns with a single click of the column header. Next, you can view sample data in the grid to see a snapshot of the view.
