We live in a weird world. Recently, Microsoft announced a huge partnership with SAP, which is one of its fiercest competitors in the ERP space. A few months ago, a partnership with Oracle was announced (long-time mutual hatred between these companies).
Last week, Microsoft and Salesforce.com announced a partnership:
The tech world is changing quickly. I think these are great things for Microsoft because they are finally "playing nice" in a field where they wouldn't cooperate before. I believe that when companies, even competitors, cooperate, everyone wins more.
