Altico Advisors was one of 24 contributors to the recently published CRM Software Blog white paper:
It’s the tale of a medical device company in Beverly, Massachusetts and the day-to-day challenges we resolved with
1-Regulatory compliance
2-Lot and serial number tracking
3-Reporting
Used in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, our development team created a CRM Accelerator that would not only address these 3 issues, but much more. You might ask, what else can it do? I’ll tell you. Built on the Microsoft Azure platform, Service + will also:
1-Track RMAs and apply workflows to manage the returns process
2-Provide visibility into the full product life cycle
3-Track incidents and cases from the time they’re logged through escalation (if necessary) and resolution
4-Track the past owner, current owner and current physical products in the field (how else could send a recall notice to the current owner if say it was purchased by a hospital group and you didn’t know which hospital the device was installed in?)
5-Associate an individual item with customers, products, cases, vendors, and maintenance renewals
And there’s more. But I woudln’t want to bore you. Hopefully, your interest has been kindled and you’ll want to
Are you a fan of Visio schematics? We have those, too.
Here’s the takeaway. Since Service + is built on top of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Azure, all the out-of-the-box reporting, views, and charting capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are available and can be leveraged to perform a multitude of tasks. And that’s why I call it “The Dream Team.”
By Marcia Nita Doron,
I really like the sound of what you've done. Being able to track your whole supply chain and manage recalls can be very complex but is absolutely vital in medical applications. Tying that all together with CRM is a great touch which no doubt makes the process even easier to manage.
