Microsoft held its New York City Launch Event at the Grand Hyatt at Grand Central Station Terminal on Thursday March 10. InterDyn AKA had the opportunity to be a sponsor at this event and to exhibit DynamicsADvantage for CRM, their integrated sales management system for broadcasters, publishers, and advertisers that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The event was well attended and featured an exhibition room for attendees to browse third party add-ons and gain information from knowlegable Microsoft Partners between break out sessions. AKA's resident CRM consultant Kevin Chan offered his opinion on the sessions he found to be the most effective:
Power of productivity Keynote and demonstration of CRM 2011 in action. This demo emphasized just how powerful CRM 2011 can be by using workflow, mobile integration, and point of sale tools. A potential customer searching for property came across a real estate agent’s website and expressed interest. The demonstration depicted how CRM 2011 was used every step of the way in this successful transaction.
Breakout: Business Productivity – This break out session consisted of several demos for the sales, service and marketing modules. An expert Q & A panel provided much useful technical insight at the end of the presentation.
Breakout #2: Financial Services – This session was the most interesting to me because it gave the audience an opportunity to see how CRM has thrived in the financial market (Financial Consulting, Business Development and Marketing, and Insurance). Much of this session consisted of a Q&A forum that allowed the three representatives from each sector to give their perspective on the question at hand.

This was a great event. The demo of Windows Azure and CRM working together on the real estate offering was very cool and I liked the integration of Windows Phone. Does Microsoft have any plans to share that demo on the web so we can use it when presenting CRM 2011 to our clients and prospects?
