Dashboards provide a fast and easy way to view and communicate business data in a visual format incorporating charts, graphs, and lists. Real-time dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 make it simple for sales, marketing, and customer service users to create dashboards on the fly, allowing them to spend more time acting on critical data and less time gathering it. This data is now available in one place rather than having to go to different areas of Microsoft Dynamics CRM to find the details.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 includes many dashboard templates to choose from right out-of-the-box. Options include two, three, or four columns in focused or overview styles. If you need a sales pipeline chart that displays opportunities divided into pipeline phases, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 gives you the tools to create and customize dashboard charts like this without the time and expense of IT support. In addition, you can drill down to see the data that is driving each chart component. You can drag in bar or line charts and use “iFrames” to provide a window to other portals or websites.

Using the real-time dashboard capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, your users can have access to more accurate and timely business intelligence from your data.

  1. Hi, just wondering in "Marketing Dashboard" why there is no "New Campaing" ribbon button available when you select campaign area. any idea??

    thanks

  2. Man! We are excited about the new dashboards in MS CRM 2011. Especially the quick and easy drill downs. This lights a real fire under Salesforce and their drill-downs (that require many more clicks).

  3. Hey there Ed - "Real-time dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 make it simple for sales, marketing, and customer service users to create dashboards on the fly, allowing them to spend more time acting on critical data and less time gathering it." This sentence jumped out at me because isn't that what we use all this technology for anyway? Getting the information so that we can use it!

    Thanks for writing!
