- Enhanced productivity yields higher profit margins providing a sharper competitive edge

- Superior network connectivity and database management empower mission-critical tasks

- Flexible deployment solutions enable tailored IT staff and resource options

xRM is the natural evolution of the techniques and data-handling structures based on the familiar CRM platform. The “x” implies that relationship management can be used in a variety of innovative, fully-integrated data applications. CRM systems architecture is adaptable to virtually any application where two or more entities need to share data.

xRM forms a shell, encompassing the .NET architecture platform, which services the routine housekeeping chores required by the server. SQL handles the data management. The familiar Microsoft Office productivity software allows the user to interact with the xRM with Outlook, Internet Explorer, SharePoint and other graphical user interfaces with little or no necessity for advanced training beyond routine knowledge of the use of the applications.

xRM applications are limited only by the imagination and corporate necessity.

Consider the possibilities:

- Human Resources Management with the flexibility to handle benefits, compensation, and manpower planning and programming requirements.
- Product and Service Provider Management to handle Accounts Payable relationships
- Employment Opportunity Vetting to compile, collate, and process potential employees
- Medical Center Front- and Back-Office Service Management. Doctor/patient relationships
- Government Mandated Environmental Impact Management. Conservation, recycling, and animal control
- Herd and Livestock Management for breeding, care, feeding, and disposition of farm animals
- Project Management and Lifecycle Contract Compliance Management to track milestones
- Proposal Processing Management for RFPs, physical resources, manpower, and staffing requirements

An easy way to envision the power of xRM is to compare its functions with the familiar Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The reality is that CRM is just one of many potential applications of xRM. CRM is simply Customer Relationship Management. For example, MRM could be Medical Relationship Management. Only the prefix letter – or letters – to “RM” define the application.

With the mature, stable, and established .NET architecture performing systemic tasks, the user is able to focus his attention on his job without having to intervene or even consciously interact with the underlying structure attaching the user to the platform. As with operating a car, the drivers have no need to know how the engine works, just that it is reliable and can get them from where they are to where they need to be with simple guidance and navigation.

By selecting the Microsoft Dynamics CRM/xRM platform, the user and IT staff have ready access to the full series of compatible Microsoft applications and SDK for virtually any configuration. Whether off-line or online, on a Hosted Microsoft CRM or On-Premises CRM, whether stand-alone or integrated as a SaaS cloud component – or any combination of the above, Microsoft Dynamics Gold Certified Partners are ready to implement an xRM solution appropriate to satisfy the most strenuous application requirements.

Recognized as a top ten Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner in the US, Streamsol was selected to Microsoft’s President’s Club in 2010. Streamsol has truly embraced the Microsoft “Power of Choice” messaging. Our CRM practice revolves around three models; On-Premise Microsoft CRM , Hosted Microsoft CRM, and Hybrid Microsoft CRM. Streamsol is one of the only partners that have truly embraced the Microsoft “Power of Choice” messaging.

So, since I’m new around here (my first post) just to get it out of the way I thought I’d do a quick intro. I’m Joe CRM, the “voice” of PowerObjects, a leading Microsoft Dynamics CRM/xRM partner based in Minneapolis with offices in Dallas and San Antonio as well. I’m honored to be aboard along with all of the other fine Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner organizations that contribute some great content to this blog. I promise to do my best to pull my weight and add information to the blog that educates and informs – and maybe even entertains once in awhile.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM/xRM is our ONLY business and we’ve helped many (really, a whole bunch) of organizations, large and small realize the benefits of choosing Microsoft CRM/xRM as their platform for everything from a classic Sales Force Automation solution to Patient Relationship Management, Project Management, People Management and even Pet Food Production management!

If you haven’t figured it out already from reading some of the other partner posts on this blog, one of the great things about Microsoft Dynamics CRM/xRM is that you have the Power of Choice in how you deploy a solution. You can choose to implement On-(your) premise, you can choose to have Microsoft host and manage it for you with CRM Online, or have your solution hosted by those partners that have made the investment in enterprise scale data centers (like PowerObjects). Bottom line is that you HAVE the choice – and can change your mind and move from one option to another if your needs change.

So, I’ll stop with the shameless plug, I mean the introduction….and ask you to watch for future posts from me, Joe CRM, and let me know what you think….

Happy CRM’ing

By Joe CRM at PowerObjects, a leading Minnesota-based Microsoft Gold Certified partner providing Microsoft Dynamics CRM and xRM solutions.

The holidays are right around the corner, and that means it’s time to send out the annual holiday card to thank your clients for their business. Unfortunately, you can’t seem to find that Excel spreadsheet with all of your clients’ contact information – or locate the stack of business cards you thought you left in your desk drawer.

Today, there’s a solution to that problem: Microsoft XRM, the latest evolution of Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM software. The solution is built on the premise of “one platform, multiple applications” — leveraging a flexible and powerful platform, and the applications sitting on that platform, to meet any and all business requirements. Microsoft XRM stretches beyond providing businesses with tools to manage relationships with customers, and offers “Anything Relationship Management.”

Just as no two people on a shopping list have the same holiday wish, no two businesses have identical needs. That’s where the Microsoft XRM 80/20 rule comes into play. By leveraging the Microsoft .NET framework, the solution allows 80% of business requirements to be achieved by using and integrating out of the box. The last 20% can be achieved through custom development to make the application do exactly what a business needs.

Watch this Microsoft xRM video to discover just how many business applications can be managed with this solution, including asset management, supplier management and vendor management. Click here to watch the video
