Innovative Benefit Planning (IBP), a Moorestown, NJ based firm, had been using a proprietary system written in Microsoft Access. Their client’s activity was managed in Microsoft Outlook’s Saved Folders and they were saving plan details to network drives. Acting as an extension to a human resource staff, this disparate system didn’t work because information was not easily accessible.
